In a journey to everywhere Between cities and nations In the presence of the Wise Remembrance The Lord of all hearts Has unified us... Has unified us all. And for the sake of memorizing the book We have knocked every door We shall continue this right path, before things come to an end A sincere advice to you with regards to accomplishing your goal of teaching your children the whole Qur'an Once in the past, I was the Imam of one Masjid in Kuwait And I used to lead them in prayers, all prayers from Fajr till Isha I noticed that whenever I recited the long Surahs, only one person corrected my mistakes An old man! So I got really interested to talk to him So one time, after prayer, I went to him and asked: " Oh uncle, do you memorize the Qur'an?" He said, "Yes I memorized all the Qur'an" I said, “Beautiful, you must have done so at a young age!" He said, " No, I memorized it at the age of 60" I was astonished! I asked him how he did it, assuming it is very difficult at the age of 60 He said, " It's only for one thing sh. Fahad" "Since I was young, my mother always supplicated one thing for me, till the day she died" " always, she used to say" Oh my son, I ask Allah that you memorize the Qur'an"" I learned from this man something I want to share with you all The message is: for you, father and mother, who wish to see their child memorize the Qur'an Supplication, supplication, supplication! In prayer, in prostration, anytime of accepted supplication Put your hands together and say " Oh Allah, fulfill my wish" "for my child to memorize the Qur'an" The prophet may peace and blessings be upon him said " Three never get rejected when they supplicate.." And among them he mentioned " The parent for his/her child" Your supplication for your child will never be rejected! Supplication is very important, don't forget it if you want to do this successfully All the time, ask Allah for your children to memorize the Qur'an By the will of Allah, they will! The story of Muad'h with the Qur'an was a long and a difficult one He started it and continued until he memorized half of the Qur'an But at the middle of that, he had a disease What is the story of this disease? I competed in a competition called The Golden Flute - I reached to the final round of it! - The Golden Flute! You must have a beautiful voice! - Yes, yes! - I must listen to you right after! - Yes, by Allah's will - Keep going So after that, I was on TV, and immediately after, I got that disease! - It came gradually - What is that disease? -Severe cough! -I went to the sheikh and sat to recite to him my memorization -from the 15th Juzz, surat Al-Kahf - yes -I was pausing every 10 minutes and cough heavily for half an hour - With fever? - Yes -So the sheikh said: " Oh my son, go home," -"and come back when Allah cures you!" - How long did you remain sick? - For a whole year! -A complete year? - Yes, full year! - you didn't go to the sheikh - I didn't even memorize anything from the Qur'an! - But at the last month, I despaired so much! - You despaired! - Extremely! And I thought that this is the end of it! So I went to my Lord and I prayed, the Asr prayer Then in Maghrib, I prayed and pleaded " Oh Allah... " " I used to walk for Your sake" I used to walk with my mother, because my father was mostly busy And there were no cars that we had to walk 3 km We used to walk from here to the local bus terminal For a fast walker, it's a distance of 15-20 minutes Then we ride till Tahra or Shubak, then we transfer to the bridge, then we transfer again to reach the sheikh’s village! We always went, whether it was in the summer heat or the cold winter! So I prayed " Oh Allah, you never let the effort for You to go in waste" And I kept crying, till I finished my prayers - Within one month of that, this disease was gone completely from me - Allah is Great! And I got back to Qur'an so fast, I could not believe it! Yes! He memorized the Qur'an completely after a hard work, patience and supplications So how can he, and his parents, help being extremely happy with those precious moments of finishing memorizing the whole Qur'an?! By Allah, I waited so long for this day, that I used to think about its coming Every day I tell him “Hold on son, you will make it" And I was counting the days with the verses that are left! I used to say " We are almost there Muad'h" Now, Allah blessed us with His great generosity that we're among the memorizers of the Qur'an" I tell him " Never let go of this bless" and we are still committed to revise it He reads everyday in revision with me or with his father - How old were you when you memorized the Qur'an fully? - I was 12 years old - At 12! - I was 5 month younger than 12, to be precise! - May Allah bless you, you memorized it and perfected it - Praise is to Allah - If you perfected then you should be ready for a test, are you? - Praise is to Allah " Have you not considered those who left their homes" "in many thousands, fearing death?" " Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? "Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life." " And Allah is full of bounty to the people," "but most of the people do not show gratitude." That's Allah's will, blessed is His name Therefore, I advice myself, and all my brothers and sister, anyone with young children They must get them to memorize the Qur'an If you are busy, bring them a teacher And if at centres of learning, follow up with their learning at home closely " It is the tranquility of my heart... and it comforts me during my distress" " It is the tranquility of my heart... and it comforts me during my distress" " It is the remedy... of all my sicknesses... Indeed it is the light to my grave" " It is the remedy... of all my sicknesses... Indeed it is the light to my grave" " Indeed it is the light to my grave" Just walking with him down the road makes me proud he's my son" If I'm going out and he excuses himself of my company, I insist! he'd say " I'm shy to walk with you" I'd say " But I am not shy of you, I want to be with you" No one knew us in this entire village, except through Mua'dh, may Allah preserve him except through the Qur'an that is with Muad'h Allah Almighty made us known, and respected among our people So now we walk with him, with our heads up and high I am sure you all have noticed this! The status of a hafidh among us is not like any other person, either at work, family, or friends We genuinely give him more respect! So you'd be with him, not knowing he's a hafidh, for you that's just a person But if you were told he's a hafidh, your level of respect for him naturally increases You find yourself more appreciating his presence And not for anything he did, but it's entirely from Allah Almighty He's put forth in gatherings, in prayers, and people want to serve him Why? Just for he memorized the book of Allah SWT An amazing story occurred with The Khalifa Umar Ibn Al-Khatab, may Allah be pleased with him, in Al-Medina Al-Monawara. He appointed a governor to represent him in Makah And one day, that man came to see him in Al-Medina So Umar, may Allah be pleased with him asked; " Who did you leave behind to fulfill your responsibilities?" The man said. " I appointed Ibn-ul Baz'i, a slave" Umar said, " You appointed a slave?" He said, " Yes, ruler of the believers, he is a man who perfected the book of Allah" Then Umar Ibn Al-Khatab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: " By Allah, I heard the prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Indeed Allah elevates people through this book, and puts down others through it" He said, " I indeed hope Ibn-ul Baz'i is one of them" i.e. elevated! Notice how much respect he developed for him, At the beginning, he didn't approve him But as soon as he knew he's a hafidh of the book of Allah, he immediately appraised him We ask Allah Almighty to be of these people And that, yourself being a hafidh, among them by the will of Allah, Almighty. Beautiful, sheikh wants me to test him using the braille copy I really don't know this but he asked me to open a random page And he'll read from there Okay I opened this page! Go ahead and read it! By In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful This is the 3rd Juzz of Surat-ul Baqarah " Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection]" "except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity" " That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." " But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest." " So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists" "may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah" " But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are" "the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein." " How fortunate are the hufadh of Quran, how fortunate are they at all times" Muhammad Sa`ed is a boy who memorized Qur'an at the age of 6 He is a living example of the application of all what we talked about in terms of parents role in this entire show Now I am interviewing a young boy, but he's much older in reality for memorizing the Qur'an - How are you Sheikh Muhammad? Are you well? - Praise is to Allah - Are you doing well?.. and studying hard? - Praise is to Allah - May Allah bless you. Tell me when did you memorize the Qur'an? - When I was 3 years old - So you started at 3! And what poems do you memorize? - Tuh`fatul Atfal, and Al-Jazriyyah - Beautiful! Can you recite to us some of the Tuh`fa poem, Tajweed? - The chapter of Noon Sakinah and Tanween! [Recites the poem] May Allah bless you, that's beautiful! - Sheikh Muhammad, was it hard to memorize the Qur'an or easy? - At the beginning it was easy - Was it easy?... or hard? - Easy! - And later it became more difficult? - No - So always was easy? - Yes Should I test you, by beloved? - From any page? - Any page! - May Allah bless you " Then do those who disbelieve think" "that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies?" " Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging." " Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?" " [They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life," "while they think that they are doing well in work."" May Allah bless you My dear viewers, the one who's reciting these verses and I am testing for memorizing the entire Qur'an He's only an 8 years old boy. He is not 20 or 23 years old, neither he is 15 or 16 8 years is extremely young! and he memorized it at age of 6 This simply means, any of us can get their child to memorize the Qur'an at age of 6 He is not a sort of miracle! All what it is, is an effort of his parents, through the facilitation of Allah SWT He did memorize the Qur'an! I am enjoying this test so much with sheikh Muhammah, so let's keep it going " O people, an example is presented, so listen to it." "Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly," "even if they gathered together for that purpose." "And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing," "they could not recover it from him." " Weak are the pursuer and pursued." I indeed congratulate his parents Congratulation for them having a son like this, living among them and recites the Qur'an for them Don't you really wish you have a son, who you'd raise, and who memorizes the Qur'an? Imagine your child coming to you; you pick any page of the Qur'an to test He/she'd recite it for you, and you listen Dear mother don't you wish to have such moment? Always think about how much pride your child will give you " Elevate just because you have memorized, oh Muslim!" " Elevate to the Firdos level, and meet the Giver" " Elevate for that you spent much effort to memorize it" " And you worked on it by your actions and by teaching it" " Elevate for that you spent much effort to memorize it" " And you worked on it.....
