Healing Herbs Making Bach Essences

At Healing Herbs we only make the 38 Bach flower remedies. We are dedicated to the production of the best quality Bach essences that you can obtain. Production begins with putting a label on the glass phial, whether it is a 10 ml or a 30 ml, and it carries the name of the remedy which will be inside the bottle. For more than 20 years, Healing Herbs has been based in the rural landscape of Herefordshire, on the borders between England and Wales. This is where Dr Bach discovered the first of the 38 Bach flower remedies, and this is where we make our remedies today. Most of the plants that we use for our flower essences grow naturally in this area. We are close to a natural spring line where water issues from the darkness. When we make a remedy we bring this water into the sunlight. I was taught to make mother tincture by Nikki Murray who continued the work of Nora Weeks at the Bach Centre in the 1970s. For the sun method, the bowls are left in full uninterrupted sunlight which writes the information into the water. Cherry Plum is one of the remedies which Dr Bach said should be made be made by the boiling method, using fire to transform the remedy. At Healing Herbs we continue to make our stock concentrate as originally specified by Dr Bach, using 40% organic French brandy. We believe that remedies are best prepared with the care and dedication of a committed workforce, who know what they are doing and why. I published 'The Collected Writings of Dr Edward Bach' in 1987, as part of the original Bach Educational Programme. Since then we have republished the 1936 edition of 'The Twelve Healers' in its unabridged form, made a series of films on the Twelve, Seven and Nineteen, and published original research material in 'Bach Flower Remedies: Form and Function'. My own work of more than 30 years informs the knowledge and understanding of making our Bach flower remedies. The remedies carry the imprint of Dr Bach’s vision for humanity ─ 'Heal Thyself'.
