Hey there,
Owen Evans here. Today after a quick program for you
strength and conditioning.
First off, what you gonna do is 15 minutes
of clean & press,
and squats. You're gonna do 5 reps of each
so you're gonna clean and press five times and go right into
five swats on that same side. Set the bell down,
rest, go on to the other side.
You go back and forth, get as many sides done
as possible in that 15 minutes. So
let me demonstrate.
You repeat that same sequence on the other side:
5 cleans & presses, five squats
and working back and forth. Now
with as many rounds as possible I want you to work quickly
but again rest as needed cause I wanna keep the form
and quality of each movement high.
After you finish with that, give yourself about
three to five minutes in between. Then you're gonna
get into the conditioning portion.
For that portion what you're gonna do is eight swings
8 snatches on one side,
set the bell down, repeat the same thing on the other side.
Eight swings, eight snatches
go back and forth & you're gonna complete as many rounds as possible
in 10 minutes. So in total
you've got fifteen minutes in the strength section,
about five minutes in the rest and then another 10 minutes. You're looking at
30-minute workout here
So let me show you what the conditioning portion
should look like. So we're going for eight swings,
and 8 snatches.
And again, rest in the middle
shake off that tension, go on the other side
Again, back and forth, make sure
you have good technique, keep the quality of each movement as high as possible
and get much work done as you can
