You may be asking if there are any side effects to tooth whitening. The answer to that is
usually something that's transient. What we do see is that if the teeth have any kind
of hypo-calcification or any area where the enamel is a little weakened, you can end up
with a white spot in the actual tooth. Nothing that can't be helped by re-hydration or sometimes
even just removing the little decalcified spot. So, as far as hurting your actual teeth,
tooth whitening is something that's very safe, otherwise we wouldn't be doing it.
