this week I'll show you the here I put my backpack I'm going travel photography Adorama TV presents exploring photography with Mark Wallace for you to learn innovative techniques I'm shooting a wide range of the time hi everybody welcome to another episode exploring photography right here on and around the TV I Mark Wallace and this is brought to you by Adorama is the camera stores everything for photographers like you and me well you may have noticed that were not in my normal studio I'm actually in Koshi India and a friend of mine and my son decided we go backpacking through southern India and I want to take some pictures along the way and that meant everything out to be very small and lightweight in fed right here in this so we can do is we're gonna go to our luxurious accommodations I'm unpacked my bag and show you exactly what I brought with me I'm but it's Marc Wallice make sure you check out at aromas latest contest you could win some great prizes alright well everything I brought with me has to fit into my daypack actually that was little pack right here to 10 leader pack and so I had a really pack small and light how many things I want to do is have a camera I can just take with me everywhere and so I chose to take my iPhone 5 can put in my pocket issues great high definition videos as well as great photos itself so that might first choice of camera plus it doubles as email and all that stuff well on this day pack your snaps of my bad was open it up and see exactly what's inside I wanted to have a really nice camera shoot some a high quality video as well as portions street photography so I chose to bring my Canon 5d mark 3 with a twenty four to seventy millimeter lands and this lens I chose specifically it is a 24 millimeter that allows me a lot a scenic photos it's a step in the beach and sort of some establishing shots but also allows me to shoot a 70 millimetres which is great for portrait photography that's the kind of photography I like to do. I talk a lot more about this in a how they do that upset right talked about shooting in India now the last time I was in India and I talked about this Lindsay might wanna check that out to the Adorama Learning Center you can look that up so this camera what are the disadvantages have this type of travel is it weighs about six pounds and that's just too much and so I would have preferred to throw a like a IR maybe a Fujifilm x-pro1 in the bag instead of my Canon 5d mark 3 but I chose this they know this camera so well and love it maybe in the future for this kind of work I would choose something much smaller and lighter but that's what I used on this I this trip now to carry that normally don't carry in the bag I'm using a app a rapid strap this is a black rapid rapid strapping allows me just a really quickly drums over my shoulder now waking keep the camera at ready at all times that's all good but what happens when I need update friends and family home I really need the laptop has an iPad just isn't powerful enough to do all the photo editing and i wanna do so I chose a and Mac Book Air and this doesn't have a lot of power but its Chinese as the 11 inch it's really small it fits right into my bag the problem with this is it doesn't have enough hard drive space really the whole lotta video and so what I did is I I also grabbed a LaCie rugged right now these guys are awesome because they're built to take abuse their water-resistant you can throw them around they'll take all the rigors of being thrown off an airplane all that kinda stuff and so that's what I brought as well and in the last thing I have is just a little bag has all of my eye connectors USB at Chargers travel adapters and things like that so that's all in here as well and so that's why I brought with me and at that time updating all my friends and family home and that's what you can do as well so don't forget you wanna see all the links to this I gear see exactly what it is and get reviews all that kinda stuff just go to Adorama dot com go to the Adorama Learning Center we'll see all the links if you're watching us on YouTube we posted links to all this gear as well to check that out and don't forget to subscribe to ad Roman TV just click the subscribe button we'll see every single episode to do that it's free and you won't miss a single thing thanks for joining me I'll see you again next time a guy hi lol I didn't you i connect me are you're cute puppy hey lol are my goals yeah the I in public are so heavy okay I hey a few great-looking print low-cost be sure to visit our easy to use online printing service Adorama pics has professionals to treat your images with the utmost care that you can count on work with
