Hello, my name is Gabriela Garzon, and I'm an image consultant with G.G. Image & Etiquette
Consulting, in Coral Gables, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to buy a good
quality dress shirt. The first thing that you have to look into, an the shirt, when
you're actually at the store, before actually you get it, you're going to see that it's
not off the rack. First of all, you're going to see is that it's in a package. I have it
here ladies, for you, so that I can show you what it is that you have to look into. So,
the first thing that you have to look into, is the stitches. Stitches should be just the
same way that the lines or stripes of the shirt are going. As you can see here, you
can see, no stitches. The stitches of the arm should actually be very, very subtle.
They should not be able to show. Another good thing to see in a good dress, quality shirt,
is this, the buttons. They should not be plastic, they should be made of mother pearl. Another
thing that you should see, is the shirt at the back. If it's in a package, you should
take it out, or ask the salesperson to take it out, so you can see these little two stitches
in the back. This will give you flexibility and mobility. This is a sign of a well made
shirt. Once again, this is Gabriela Garzon, at G.G. Image & Etiquette, in Coral Gables,
Miami.
