Hey, this is Betsy from Classroom Caboodle and today I'm going to talk about median,
mode, range and mean anchor charts.
Alright, so, in fourth grade, I teach median, mode, range in my classroom. And as you're
teaching, of course, you want to have some kind of support for students in the classroom
to refer to when they're working independently.
So what I have here and what I have created is range, mode and median anchor charts. They're
all available at my Teachers Pay Teachers store called Classroom Caboodle. You can get
the 'mean' poster as well for students...student support for finding the average of a set of
data.
Now what this is, is a nine pieces of paper taped together and laminated.
So yeah; purchase and download and print it out, tape it together, laminate, and there
you go--a nice, clean, clear anchor chart for students for range, mode, median and mean.
So while Wall support is great, it is inapproriate to have it up all the time becuase I'm not
teaching this all the time. The next unit I'm going to move to is multiplication and
I'll have those anchor charts up.
What I have available on Teachers Pay Teachers in Classroom Caboodle is some 8 1/2 x 11 size
sheets that look just like this. You can put them in a binder for students to refer to
anytime they need that support for range, median, mode or mean.
So look for it; Teacehrs Pay Teachers, Classroom Caboodle
