How to Make Cards with Sponges - Kids arts & crafts - Flower art & card decorations with sponges

Hi! This is Brenda and today we’re working on our cards using sponges. I have varies sponges here that I bought at the art supply store. I have a 5x8 index card that’s card stock and it’s a heavy quality, I fold it in half and I'm going to choose I believe this stamp today and I'm just going to take my paint brush and start randomly painting some blue here on this little flower and a few minutes I'm going to be stamping it on our paper and it’s going to become our card. If you want to you can just dip the sponge right straight down on to the paint but I like to paint my on like this, then I'm going to choose maybe a little red for the center, you can just use whatever colors that you like, these are acrylic paints and the more color the better. Then I'm just going to start stamping on this card here maybe in the center if I’d like, this will be cute maybe for a shower a baby shower, a wedding shower, if you I want to I can take my calligraphy pen and write maybe a message around here, I can write a message on the inside of the card, put it in a envelope and when it’s dry it’s ready to mail.
