My name is Dan Tinianow, I'm your instructor in this course. I'm sending you this video
message today because you haven't been participating quite enough in class, and I just wanted to
make sure that you knew that you have options if something's come up in your life that's
preventing you from participating fully, you have options that are available to you, such
as applying for extra time for work, possibly applying for an incomplete and I just wanted
to encourage you to reach out, contact to your student advisor, your SA, to discuss
what's going on and to look for an option that will help you successfully complete this
course and continue your studies here at Ashford. You know, you made the decision to study at
Ashford, you made a decision to go for this degree that you're working on and that was
a good decision and I think you'll agree that it's worth doing something now to keep that
commitment that you made to yourself. So again, I want to encourage you to call your SA and
discuss what options might be available to you and how you might be able to successfully
complete this course despite the fact that maybe you haven't turned in assignments within
the last week or so. You can reach your SA by calling 866-974-5700, again it's 866-974-5700.
You can also send me an email, but the person who, I think, can help you most directly with
any of the needs that I outlined is your SA. So I encourage you to call. I look forward
to seeing you back in class as an active participant and wish you good luck!
