With Quick Command, the S Pen quickly activates applications
and services that are used most often
by allowing you to write command shortcuts
using customized and preset S Pen strokes.
Want to search the internet? Simply write a question mark and the keyword.
Discover great shortcuts and even create your own.
To use Quick Command to create a shortcut, access Settings.
Then under System, select S Pen. Choose Quick Command Settings.
You'll see that shortcuts have already been created
to search the internet, email, and find a map location.
To customize any of these existing shortcuts
select the shortcut you'd like to change
then draw a new symbol in the box.
Press Done to save your new shortcut.
To add a new Quick Command, select the plus icon.
Choose either an application or a function for your shortcut
in this example an application, then select the specific application.
Now use your S Pen to create the new Quick Command
and then tap Done to save your new shortcut symbol.
To access any of your Quick Commands from the home screen
press the S Pen button and drag the S Pen upward.
The Quick Command box will appear.
Enter in a saved shortcut symbol and the application
or function will begin automatically.
