How to Draw a Football Helmet - Tutorial [legit & helpful]

Hey everyone this is DanielVPlascencia, showing you. How to draw a football helmet. In this tutorial. I'm going to use two colors, white and gray. White indicating a light value and... grey indicating uh dark value. the purpose of this, is to make it the tutorial as easy as possible. If your wondering why I'm using these still images, is to make the tutorial as short as possible. also giving you a visual perspective of what to expect. Step after step. Okay let's get started! Step one make the outer shell... of the helmet. Make sure to have a 1 Inch gap up on the right side of the helmet. To have enough.. space to make the face mask. Later on in this tutorial. Second! Start at the bottom of the helmet and make your way to the top and once there do the opposite. By starting at the top and making your way to the bottom and once at the bottom connect both lines. Next... Add these features to the helmet. Third start from the bottom and curve your way to the top as shown in the tutorial. Next, make a circle from the tip of the previous featured item from inside the helmet. Once your finished add the padding from inside the helmet. Next, add the ear piece on the helmet. Make sure the bottom of the ear piece... and the bottom of the helmet, make 1/2" and that the right side of the... ear piece, make a little more than a inch. I recommend using a compass when making the ear piece or any circular... shape in your possession once your done. Add the extra features. Okay in this step... were going to draw the plate and add the detailing then your going to draw if your team has stripes or no stripes. On the helmet. If you want to draw the stripes correctly or have an idea. Look at "ALL NFL TEAMS DRAWN" video. Next, draw the two bars that go straight down on the face mask. Make sure those bars are... 1/4" of an Inch. Make sure to use a ruler. Alright in this step you're going to draw the last remaining parts... On the face mask. Make sure to make the value dark but not to dark. Once your done drawing the face mask. Add the... last remaining feature on the helmet. Note: Make sure your face mask isn't crooked or weird looking to avoid fixing and erasing... mistakes. So make sure that your measurements are correct. Last but not least. This is were you erase and... darken lines and take your time. Getting your drawing similar or exactly like mine. I hope this tutorial was helpful and gave you an idea of how to draw a helmet.
