Hello everyone, you see that this episode isn't in English, so today I'll talk in Latvian!
So taday, we'll take a look in Hasegawa 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.1
So you see this is 3-bladed version on the BoxArt, but I like 2-bladed Spit
So lets se, what's inside!
So..instruction, some waffle..
Instruction is just long piece of paper, with history, tech-data, painting guide and everything else..
So here you can see some of the small detail assembling, like cockpit, chassis e.t.c
You need to use decal for the instrument panel, but it'll better if you use some aftermarket or hand-painted panel..
So here's how-to adjust chassis and two versions of canopy's and propellers..
Then you see everything like in normal instruction - adjusting the cockip to fuselage, adding the wings and stabilizators e.t.c.
So lets take a look to the decals!
I just put them on the window to take of the yellowing effect..
I took them off after a week, and you see that there's no yellowing! These are sticky type decals and that's good!
They're really thin and you almost can't feel them.
They need some trimming too, because decal film is on those numbers too.
I think I'll paint those rings or use aftermarket, because I'm not the OOB modeller..
Canopys are in one piece, so you will need to cut them to make open-cockpit version.
Then we have two light-grey sprues, wich looks really good!
One of them is for fuselage (you'll need a lot of work on these, because there's no detailing), pilot wich looks like an Airfix pilot and some of the cockpit parts..
A 3-bladed prop, wich will go in to the spares box, cockpit floor, wheels and nose cones for 2 or 3-bladed props.
And of course some little details for cockpit e.t.c.
second sprue gives you wings, stabilizators, chassis and exhausts.
This kit will stay for some time in my shelf, because I have plenty other projects at the moment and this kit will need some work on it..
I have a lot of started models, who wait to get finished..
More - I have to finish my BMW R75 till the next exhibition..
So you can see the sidecar and the central part of it..
I hope you liked this IR, because it was a bit different from others!
So see you soon in the next video, your Edgars Bizūns! Bye!
