Hello everyone! I'm Ehleshea Woodruff and welcome to the Fort Report.
Mark your calendars now to participate in Fort Worth's largest cleanup event.
The 29th Cowtown Great American Cleanup is on Saturday, March 22.
If you want to join one of 12 locations you can, but if you have your girl scout group,
your neighborhood association, your church group ... all of those groups can pick a location
nearest and dearest to your heart and that's the location you'll clean.
So we're asking people to register by March 10 so we can make sure we have enough supplies
on hand for everybody.
After you clean the city, you're invited to the Earth Party in Sundance Square Plaza.
The Earth Party is going to be great this year. Our entertainment is Vocal Trash. They
put on a great show.
And then we have 40 vendors out here. Free giveaways, compositing demonstrations, pet
adoptions.
Cowtown Cleanup is once a year, but you can continue your cleanup efforts by signing up
to ReverseLitter.com.
We're asking Fort Worth residents and everybody in the metroplex to pickup 10 pieces of litter
on Tuesdays. Just go to ReverseLitter.com and sign up to make a pledge to pick up litter.
Every Tuesday.
It's really easy and it helps make our community - the whole metroplex - a better place to
live.
