Hello everybody and welcome to my new tutorial!
I am back for a new tutorial which is a DIY. I hope you all had a good week and that coming back to school is going well for you. Today, the tutorial is very simple and you don't need a lot of accessories.
We are going to customize a pair of shoes. And we only need two accessories. A pair of canvas shoes Textile felts
To customize your shoes, the principe is very simple. You have to chose a pair of canvas shoes, in preference one in plain fabric.
I choose a grey/black pair but you can also take an orange one or a red one. It doesn't matter as long as it's in plain fabric.
And then you chose the textile felts ; the colors you want once again.
We will be doing different patterns on our shoes
to customize them. If you don't have any idea, you can look on
the internet. Or you can do the same as me, randomly. Here are the shoes we are customizing with the textile felts.
You can either do two different shoes
(one with a certain pattern and the other one with a different pattern).
Or, you can do the same pattern on both shoes. To start, you need to take off the shoe laces.
So you won't draw on them.
Now, start customizing.
Like I said before, you can chose your own pattern. Here is just an example.
If it's the first time you are using your
textile felts, don't forget to shake them before using them.
For the first part, I decide to do dots like Polka Dots on the outer part of the shoe.
I change my textile felt and take the white one
to do the same Polka Dots on the other side.
Here is the result for now. I am now going to draw the front part of the shoe with blue.
Once it's done, I do a little echo by doing white Polka Dots again.
Here it is.
Now I only have to do the other shoe.
Here is the final result of our customizing shoes.
You can put back the shoe laces.
Let's see now how the shoes look while wearing them!
You finally have the final result. I hope you like it.
Like I told you at the beginning, you can do the pattern you want. Don't be afraid to have your own ideas and do something that you really like.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I see you all very soon for a new one.
Bye!
