How to Decorate an Embroidered Shirt

Hi, Cam Schultz here with EmbroidMe San Diego to talk about how to get the most mileage
out of your embroidered polo shirts.
What a lot of people don't realize is that most of the cost of a custom embroidered shirt
order is actually the cost of the shirt, not the embroidery. So once you've purchased the
shirt and put the first logo on it, it really doesn't cost very much more to add more embroidery,
but that additional embroidery really makes your shirt, and the person wearing it stand
out.
So where can you put all this extra embroidery? Well, your first location is probably the
left chest - over the pocket, or a pocket sized embroidery on that left chest area.
That's probably your company logo, or the main logo that you're trying to promote. Well
that still leaves a lot of real estate on a shirt.
There's the opposite side of the chest, the right side of the chest, which traditionally
might be used for a name, or perhaps a second logo or perhaps a title. And there's a lot
of real estate on the sleeves. So the left sleeve and the right sleeve can both be embroidered,
and they'll add a lot of visibility to what you're doing.
There's also the back of the shirt. You can put a website or a tagline embroidered just
below the back collar. That's still very cost effective to do with embroidery.
Now what kind of information or logos might you embroider on a shirt to add to the decoration
and the embellishment and really make it stand out? Well other than your company logo, consider
the logo of the brands that you service, the brands that you sell, the brands that you
promote. Those would all be additional logos, which are themselves made to be noticeable,
so they're going to help you stand out if you add them. Also you can add any certifications
that you might have. Are you certified to be an installer or are you rated or are you
a trainer?
With all those extra embellishments on your shirt, you're really going to stand out. Thanks
