For today's quick tip I'm going to show you how to turn yellow nails to white again!
Often your nails will turn yellow if you're not getting enough sun or you're using a lot
of dark polishes. Reds, black, dark blues, anything that's remotely
dark will sink into the nails and dull them a little bit.
And so they go yellow. And it's kind of gross.
But luckily for you guys it's an easy fix. All you need is a little bit of baking soda.
So pour your baking soda into a bowl. I'm using quite a bit because my nails are
quite yellow. I've been doing a lot of nail tutorials.
Add a little bit of water. Just enough so it turns into a paste. I'm using my fingers
to mix it, you're about to stick your fingers in it anyway so I don't think it matters that
much. So you're aiming for a mushy paste.
Now just apply the mushy paste to your finger nails.
And let them soak in there for like 10 minutes. I'm not going to make you watch me for 10
minutes. You're welcome.
If your nails are being particularly stubborn just add a bit of white vinegar to it. Mix
it and soak it again. Fun reaction.
Sciencey. And there you have it. I'm going to go wash
my hands and then I'll show you guys properly. Whoobam. Pretty white nails again.
Now I'm going to ruin it by putting on more polish.
Woo! Nail tutorials. I hope you guys enjoyed this
week's quick tips and I'll see you next time. Bye!
