Hello everyone, Sotius here and it's time for Gaming News Today where we bring you five
gaming related news stories.
First up in new releases is Pathologic Classic HD, an updated version of the original Russian
game released in 2005. Pathologic is about three characters as they try to uncover the
source of a strange lethal sickness and hopefully a cure.
The game promises to provide a first person horror adventure that will affect your emotional
and psychological state if you dig deep enough.
The game features 70+ hours of real time gameplay without grinding or repetitive quests.
Three playable characters, each with a unique storyline.
A critically acclaimed plot from this indie cult classic.
An open world.
Tough survival requiring tough choices.
The ability to communicate, barter, rob or steal to get your bare necessities.
And an atmosphere of bleakness and despair.
It is available now on Steam and our review will be available soon.
Square Enix today revealed further details regarding the upcoming third person action
role-playing game NieR: Automata with a debut gameplay trailer.
The trailer features intense fast paced combat and a possible look into various unique boss
battles.
The game is designed to be a follow-up to popular cult title NieR which was released
in 2010.
A link to the full trailer is in the description.
A story and missions dev diary has been released for upcoming Just Cause 3, the video goes
into depth about how they developed the story, the characters involved, the impressive motion
capture techniques and improved AI to really bring the characters of Just Cause 3 to life.
A link to the dev diary is down below.
Batman: Arkham Knight is finally back on sale via Steam and various other digital retailers.
The extremely over-hyped game was met with utter disappointment from PC gamers back in
June when the game ran abysmally on PCs regardless of their specs.
The game was swiftly taken off sale and has been MIA until today. Hopefully now the PC
port of the game may run a bit smoother and with all the graphical glory that was promised
on launch, however something tells us that the damage to the iconic Arkham trilogy has
already been done.
And lastly another Kickstarter project has surfaced by the name of 'Project 37'. It is
a unique open world sci-fi adventure game in development by Nurviz Entertainment.
Seeking a mere $3,000 goal, you play as Jeremy Walker who has been summoned to the fictional
island of NewHaven to gather information about recent distress calls made by colleagues who
were researching a project in technological defense, naturally something went wrong and
threatens to start events prior to the end of the world as we know it.
This is definitely a project worth keeping an eye on and we will be bringing you more
news regarding it as time progresses.
For now, please feel free to check out the Kickstarter to learn more about the project.
And that's your five stories for today, keep in mind that more news and information is
revealed as the day goes on so be sure to check FragMix.com to stay up-to date.
