So, this is when I get completely ***
for the past 10 minutes, 15 minutes maybe, I followed the host family
mother over to the train station. I wasn't paying much attention because I was trying to talk
and I'm not even sure I'll be able to get back home later but that's
a completely other problem because, we're here and I bought my PASMO card so I could
just get in here and swipe the card; it's easier, at least for now. I may be able to buy a pass later
but I need it for kind of a short term, at least for the week to get to and back from school.
Right... I was under the impression that she was going to follow me all the way through
and I was like, "Oh that's really nice! You're paying the money, oh hey that's cool! Thank you very much!"
Nah... oops.
I mean, we talked about it last night and I'm pretty sure I heard she was going to come but
she came with me to the station just not through the station so
I can kind of understand where the confusion may lie.
Well, I only know a little bit about what I need to do, and I've never gone
this far into Tokyo - I mean, to try and get back into Tokyo, so right now
I'm looking at... right there.
Oh, so I gotta go from uhh... I gotta get to the Araijuku and then Iidabashi, and then Kudanshita [stations].
Sounds sort of easy, sort of easy.
The problem is right now...
I'm hoping all I need to do is go down that pathway and just
get on the train, and then I'll be good... Then hopefully get off at Araijuku
and then try and head to Iidabashi because I know I'm going to have to connect at least
three times, that would make sense, but with my luck I don't think that's going to happen
I'm sure I'm going to get completely screwed over. I left really early - I left about an hour
earlier than I would need to, sort of, so... I hope I get there.
That wasn't that bad. I mean, that was the first step of three. Unfortunately I have to stop recording because
I missed the last train by like thirty seconds, because I was talking to myself on a camera so
I should stop. I think I might start back up when I at least know where I am and I'm
done with my job.
Umm... so I was wishing I was going to get lucky, and I'm not. I should probably just stop paying
attention to the paper that I've been given because my host family was really nice...
The mom took me to a different station that was actually closer and I don't know if she was actually trying to
save money or I don't know what she was doing, but uhh...
I started in...
I started in Hatogaya and my paper said that I need to
start in Araijuku so I just thought that I needed to get to Araijuku and then maybe get on
a different train that would then take me someplace else
but I don't know what I was thinking. I'm just going by the book, trying not to screw anything up
and of course I end up screwing something up. So, actually I went the wrong way
So, now I have to go back in the direction I came and then continue on that train
for like... a bunch of stations.
So, there I am.
That's Iidabashi.
So, I don't know how long that's going to take. Probably a long time.
I just want to make sure I don't miss it so I'm going to try and get on that
and then hopefully when I get to Iidabashi I get off that train and get on a different train going a different direction
Because that I am pretty damn sure of.
I gotta get off this line, so... I gotta go. Bye bye.
