My sport is dragon boating. Ever heard of it?
Not too much.
It's a kind of canoe.
It's not an Olympic sport so it's hard to get money.
It's a young team, coming straight from school.
They don't have the money
to go to world championships.
I just want to support the team
so that they don't have to worry about how to finance that
and they can just do what they're here for without having to worry.
It's not just about winning.
They're really great guys too.
It's sad having to leave someone behind
just because he doesn't have
the financial possibilities
to come with you.
Where are the championships next year?
I think the world championship is in Canada
and the European is in Poland.
Cool. Great.
I'm a distance runner.
My project is an attempt to break a world record.
I'm going to try and run the fastest...
the fastest seven marathons on seven continents.
Last year, the record was taken down to just under five days.
It's a race against time.
The charity I've chosen is also up against a race against time.
It's called Joining Jack,
it's a charity that's really close to my heart.
A good friend of mine set it up
when her son Jack became seriously ill.
He's got a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
and he's got a real race against time.
It's a battle.
Duncan's project is good.
I like his project
and I hope he can beat the world record.
That's cool. It's cool to be here.
I hope you can gain something from me.
Hopefully I can encourage and support you.
You can all make the best of this great opportunity.
All the projects are really cool.
No one project sort of stood out
but one that was close to home
was Duncan's, from England.
I hope you will enjoy yourselves. Let's have some fun.
- Cool. - Thanks, mate.
