nihaooo i'am Greg Le Geek or GLG for my buddies and you're welcome for this new JT GEEK test with today the iOcean G7, the big iOcean, simply the most beautifull. beacuse it's good to see the products on pictures...Watching them in a video is better So unbridle yourself and discover all our high-tech test live from Shenzhen in China. The presentation and all the explanations, right after our openning theme video with Pangeek! We and iocean started on wrong terms last year with the old X7 and all his problems and bugs ... the update and upgrade of the X7 made it better and now apparently the new iOceans devices have not anymore those bugs. it looks like they learned from their mistakes and we're happy to welcome this iOcean G7. It's a big phone with a 6.44 inches screen diagonal with Full HD. Very classy! 2 GB of RAM + 16 GB ROM. An enormous battery! let's look a bit at the inside... so to the back we have 2 slots for Sim cards : one normal size sim and one for micro sim. for the info, the IMEI numbers starts with 86. There's a micro SD slot too and the battery capacity is up to 3500mAh. Big battery but relatively thin that allow us to have a nice flat design for this phone. we can see also a grid for the loudspeaker with a 3D sound carved logo The rear cam has a 13 Mpx sensor. On the left side the volume switches + and -. On the right side the power button. On the bottom side a micro USB socketand the microphone which is always good for phone :). on the top the 3.5 jack outlet. Let's see if there's a notification led... ok we see it good right here. very good. ok let's start it, the phone has an iocean overcoat has you can see with the icons style. but don't worry you can change it in the menu or with your favourite launcher. let's verify the sims numbers a second time : ok 2 IMEI in 86 so all is good. now the engineer mode : let's check the BAND MODES here with Sim1 : GSM 850, 900, 1800,1900 MHz so it's quad band for the entire world. And for the 3G allelujaaaa....the 900Mhz is here!! As well as the 800,850,1900 and 2000 MHz so here we're good for all kind of WCDMA frequency. Ok first part is done. Now none of our test would be complete without... Our Rabbit! Our Master Antutu which will give us the score of this beast!..27487 ! so we're sure to be on an octacore phone. antutu check : iocean G7. android version 4.2.2...processor MTK 6592 (octocore 8x 1.6Ghz...the GPU is mali 450...the screen resolution is FHD as said before...camera 13Mpx + 5Mpx for the front cam... Ram 2GB...16GB ROM...and SD card up to 32 GB according to the manufacturer...and all the sensors as you can see on the screen. Now let's give a little closer look at the measurments given by iOcean and let's welcome our second extraordinairy character...Maître Pouce! (Master Inch) AKA the man with the lock! The Screen is 6.44" as said before, the lenght is 17.5cm The width is 9,05cm About the thickness. on the paper it says 8,88 mm...here we see something slightely different but it still possble that my calliper is sick today! let's check inside the phone storages : internal storage : there's 3,94GB to install all your favourite apps and so there's9,5GB left for all your photo, MP3 etc.. So we're here with a 16 GB ROM phone and that can also support a 32 GB external SD memory card before Zdevice let's do a little CPU test 16102 for the score of teh CPU TEST. Now with Zdevice let's check the technical hardwares Accelerometer...check! the compass...check! The OTG....check! you can see now that we can change the overcoat easily to come back with way more classical android look with typical icon and launcher style. the playstore and all the google apps are here as well as the JTGEEK APP offcourse ! :) with all the news and JTGEEK affiliated shops and also the famous babes sections ;) now the sound and video check... the sound with our marvelous forever sexy Britney. that gives us a loudspeaker with low medium and medium waves. Very small high medium and a bit less high tones and no bass tones. the 3D option sound apparently bring some improvment but it's very lightly perceptible. now the video check with our FHD video.... the screen is IPS with no white veal. The screen is simply beautifull like all the phones here in china. the colors are very pretty, maybe a little bit light is missing but you can change this with the settings without problems. the contrasts are standard and very good quality for a 6.44 inches screen. now the camera check .. let's take some pictures! The camera has HDR mode, panorama mode, the following faces mode. Photo until 13Mpx and video until FHD mode. I forgot to say ! Iocean makes you a gift in the box. it's a holster with a small iOcean logo. now you can see a video that we took inside .... and one outside from the balcony. The GPS first fixed in 8 second which means a reall good time of fix! you can compare the design.. a conlusioon while www.jtgeek.com is launching on the internet explorer we can make the recap of this test with the pros and cons for this phone. The pros: * FHD 6.44" widescreen *MTK6592 octocore that works great* the band mode 3G 900Mhz available* we liked teh 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM + the possibility of a 32GB external SDCARD * we also liked the big battery of 3500mAh* we like the 2 camera* the GPS fix that was very fast! * and finally... THE PRICE FOR THIS iOcean G7 at 249€ at www.sciphone.fr the Cons...well not much, maybe the size that offcourse depends of your taste!this way it can be a pro or a cons. you can see it's a lil bit bigger than my Oppo N1.
