Here's a sure way to get elected to political office.
Just attack someone everybody hates.
In Biblical times, it was the lepers, it was easy building support to quarantine those
losers, except for Jesus, nobody wanted to get near them.
Now we have a better target, one so despised it makes those lepers sound appealing.
This target is sex offenders.
Out politicians have figured out, you can act like you are doing something about these
deviants, while doing nothing.
That's why Ohio and Kentucky passed restrictions to keep sex offenders from living within 1000
feet of schools, play grounds or day cares.
That would work out fine, if these characters couldn't hop in a car or walk down the street
to locate their victims.
My regret as a public official, I didn't have the guts to point our how worthless these
laws are!
Maybe someday, someone will.
