Roşin Çiçek, escaped home when his parents found out his homosexuality and he feared for his life.
He got forcibly ousted from the house where he hid in Diyarbakır and after he was killed with a single shot, he was thrown out on the Elazığ highway.
Roşin, at the age of 17, was slaughtered by premeditation due to his *** orientation with the name of mores/customs and homophobia.
His killers are his father and uncles.
We know that the hate culture turning social life into hell...
...will find every one of us at the end of the day.
The hate that hit the Armenian people In April 1915,
That burned Ağrı, Dersim, Amed. (referring to the burning of Kurdish villages)
That orphaned Izmir and Istanbul on 6-7 September 1955, (referring to the forced expulsion of Greeks)
That suffocated the light in Sivas into darkness, (referring to the 1993 Sivas massacre)
That dropped bombs on Kurdish children and mules in Roboski, (referring to the 2011 Roboski massacre)
That killed İrem, Dora, Baki and Ahmet, (referring to the *** of two trans women and two gay men)
are all different facets of the same hate culture.
In order to shout that Roşin is not alone. (In Kurdish)
In order to shout that Roşin is not abandoned.
To stop hate killings.
To close the gaping wound and restore public consciousness.
Just to spite hate...
...to say long live life!
