- You have a son. How old is your son?
- I do. He's 3 3/4, as he likes to say.
- 3 3/4, mm-hmm. - Yeah.
- And his name is? - His name is Bennett, and--
audience: Aw.
- And that is adorable.
- That's at the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City.
- That's what I was hoping, or else something's going wrong.
[laughter]
Or something's invading America.
I don't know.
Oh, he's precious. - He's super sweet.
I had a-- you know, he's at that age
where he says words that you just sort of don't expect
to come out of his mouth, and some of them
are absolutely hilarious,
and then some of them just sort of make you cry in an instant.
And I was getting dressed up--
a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited
to one of the most insane, awesome nights of my life,
which was the SNL 40 celebration.
And so you had to-- it was black tie,
and you had to get all dressed up.
And he was out at a playdate while I was getting ready,
and then he came home right before I left.
And I was in a gown, and he comes into the room,
and he, like, was afraid to touch me,
which was very strange.
And so I go, "Honey, it's okay. You can give me a hug.
It's okay." He goes, "Mommy."
His nanny was outside. Maddie was outside.
He goes, "Let me introduce you to Maddie."
He's never used, like, these words before.
I was like, "Introduce me? Okay."
And so he brings me out, and--
between, like, my bedroom door
and the living room, where she was--
and he goes, "Maddie,
introducing Mommy the Beautiful."
audience: Aw.
- Oh, come on. - Really, no.
[applause] Yeah.
So Mama needs to, like, on regular days,
obviously pull it together, because--
- There was such a drastic change.
- There was such a drastic change
than how he thinks Mama looks at home.
- Yeah. [both laugh]
