COMPUTER TV
Alright, you guys probably don't really know what you're looking at here,
and I don't have to tell you what it is.
It's either the biggest iPod docking station I've ever seen,
or it's a television with an iPod docking station,
and we're listening to some Eric Clapton there.
But the thing's pretty interesting and I had to show it to you guys,
because we're going to have a great deal on it,
we're going to be selling it. It's very affordable,
and it's an awesome television. Let me give you the details. Check it out.
This is a 32" JVC. It's an LCD Television and it's unique feature is that is has,
that iPod Docking Station right there, and you can play music or videos through it.
Now I'm a poor boy, so I always have like this thing,
3rd gen or 2nd gen iPod. But it is the first one to have video.
I am actually playing a video on the television through the iPod.
As you can see its says JVC, it's docked up with the television,
and you pretty much have on your remote control,
you have a button right there. It says iPod. You push it,
and automatically you can just start watching your music,
or listening to music, or watching your videos.
It's really cool. If a friend comes over,
and they got some great content on their iPod and they want to share.
It's very simple to just open it up and just go from there.
Besides that, it's a great regular television. It does 720P. It actually has,
a maximum Resolution of 1366 x 768, if you were to input a PC into it,
or it'll do your regular 720P for everything else.
It does ATSC, it does clear QAM. So there's built-in tuners,
for changing all your channels. It has an 8 ms Response Time,
which is actually very good for a 32" HD TV like this,
and it only weighs 30 lbs, so it's quite, quite light actually.
It's easier to move around if need be. And it's actually got really great build quality,
it's very thin and at the price it's at right now,
if it gets any cheaper, I mean, it's going to be a giveaway.
It's so cheap and affordable, it's great and you'd actually pay more,
for a 32" TV that doesn't have the iPod Docking Station,
and this one does have it. It also has a 1500:1 Contrast Ratio,
which is extremly good. As you can see the picture,
looks pretty dark in the black areas. It's very very dark and over here it's bright.
And I'll tell you something else too. You're not seeing a full image.
You're seeing a scaled down image, because the video I had in the iPod,
unfortunately was just the image, just big enough to fill the iPod screen.
But, when you download stuff to your iPod, or your iPod Touch,
your Nano, whatever it may be, iTunes give you the option of,
downloading the bigger video. It asks you do you want to get,
the small one for your screen to save space,
or if you're going to be sharing with other people,
you can download the full 720p file onto your iPod Touch,
iPod Nano, or your classic iPod and that will let you put it up,
on your television in full 720p high def, which is actually quite amazing.
This thing has 3 HDMI Ports as well. Forgot to share, that's a big one,.
So you're not only going to have the connectivity of your cable box,
but you can also hook up a PS3 or an Xbox 360,
or any other HD source that you may have,
including Blue-ray players, HD DV players, etc and,
1500:1 Contrast Ratio is going to be, is really, really, excellent.
I'm going to pull the iPod out, because I'm going to show you,
the back of it now, which is the connectivity.
But just so you see how it works, I'm going to pull it out.
Obviously you saw the screen die there. And pretty much, right there.
Looks absolutely normal. And if you want to flip it down,
well whenever you want, you just flip it down,
and there's where it goes. You can put any iPod,
that does video on there, including the iPod Touch.
It does not however, support the iPhone,
so just keep that in mind. It's not really a big deal.
A lot of things, aren't, you know, iPod doesn't support everything.
But, let's go to the back. I want to show you the connectivity,
you got on here because you got quite a bit of connectivity,
starting off from right up in here, you can't see it but,
right up in here they're actually are 3 HDMI Inputs,
and they are labelled right there. 1, 2 and 3.
You also have a Coaxial Input right there, which you can put a cable in,
directly and use your clear QAM Tuner that is built in to the television,
to search your non encrypted, digital cable channels.
Also if you move up here to the top, you are going to notice,
that you have a variety of inputs. You have a bunch of composite,
as well as component inputs here, so you can really do 1080i or 720p,
with your components or you can do, 480 with your composite,
if you have an old hook-up there. You have a 4 pin S-Video cable,
which is the older analogues. If you want to play an older video camera,
you can plug it in directly right there.
You also have an SPDIF Optical. So if you want to hook this up,
to your surround sound, you can hook up a optical,
or fibre optic one cable solution. It will transfer all 5 channels,
plus your Subwoofer, to your HD Receiver or to your,
surround sound receiver with one cable.
That cable's called a Toslink cable, if you need to buy one.
So, quite, quite the amazing, little TV here.
I've got to give it to JVC. They did a great job.
It looks really elegant. I don't if you noticed but,
there's actually a little light, right in here on both sides,
kinda letting you know that this is an iPod Dock,
in case you bought it and you didn't know what you got.
It kinda reminds you that there is an iPod Dock in there.
Great for parties. Great when friends come over.
Great if you just want to jam out. You put your iPod in there,
and just let it play some music and it'll leave a black screen.
Really really great television. And in case you want to know the model number:
It's the LT-32P679. It's a 32" 720p, JVC HDTV,
with an iPod, Docking Station. It's the first one I've ever seen.
I don't think, have you ever seen? -Never. - Never me neither.
Didn't know it existed. I really like it. It looks really sharp. It's a great set.
