This project originated from my great passion
for underwater exploration in the North Pole region
It's an utterly fascinating world, very fragile, in the process of
disappearing and completely unknown.
The goal was to bear witness to the world under the ice
and to reveal it in all its diversity.
What is it like? Is there any light? Is it deep?
And so I wrote and directed the Deepsea Under the Pole expedition.
There were 8 of us, together with my dog, a Siberian husky.
I went on this expedition out of a thirst for scientific knowledge
and a desire to share what we were able to observe.
Over 47 days, we completed 51 exploratory dives.
It's a unique world.
Maybe we've opened a door into a new world of exploration.
We will be able to go further in our knowledge
and exploration of the Arctic Ocean.
