You can send us voicemails to 219-2DAVIDP, and we'll get to a couple of those now.
Hello to everyone watching on People TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Thrilled to have People
TV on-board with us, Louis. Atlanta is fantastic.
Louis: Definitely.
David: We've been on the radio there for a couple of years now, and great to now be on
TV also.
Let's go to voicemail number one here on the topic of abortion.
Caller: Hey, what up? My name is Brandon. I'm a conservative, and I watch your shows,
and I'm subscribing on YouTube. And I just watched a video about Rick Santorum on abortion,
and it seems like you think it'd be OK to abort a child if the mother is *** or ***
occurs. My opinion is that two wrongs don't make a right, and if someone is ***, that
doesn't give someone the right to take away innocent life.
Another thought I had was at the end where you said it would be devastating if Rick Santorum
had his way, and you talked about the stats about pregnancies and abortions, and I just
got the feeling that you were suggesting that we need to have less people in the world.
David: No. OK, so let's address this point by point. First of all...
Louis: We just think it should be the woman's choice.
David: What I meant by, think about the statistics, if Rick Santorum had his way, think about
how many children would've been born to mothers who did not want to be mothers, or were not
equipped to be mothers, and think about the horrible circumstances those children would
now be in. And by the way, yeah, that would be...
Louis: And the economic repercussions of a situation like that as well.
David: And the economic repercussions as well. So that's what I meant. And as far as two
wrongs don't make a right, you're saying that abortion is wrong. Nobody... but if you don't
believe that, then who's talking about two wrongs make a right? Nobody's talking about
making one wrong, *** or ***, right with another wrong, which you say is an abortion.
What we're talking about here is Rick Santorum is not a doctor, and Rick Santorum should
not be deciding for other women who have nothing to do with Rick Santorum what it is that they
should be doing.
A couple of emails here. On the topic of a man dying after a toothache... we actually
don't even have time for emails. We'll get to them on the bonus show. david@davidpakman.com.
See you on the next show.
