Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip
we are going to talk about how to use crates while boarding your dog. You know often you
have a couple of different kinds of crates. We have a metal crate all metal and I like
to keep a blanket over it to give them a sense of a den something that is covered and sheltered.
We also have a plastic crate which they don't get as much air flow but it depends on the
dogs. Some dogs don't particularly want to see other dogs and some dogs really enjoy
being next to other dogs so we are able to give them whatever they need with the crate.
We can really customize the animal's space. One of the good things about using crates
is we have these type of outer water bottle feeders which stops the animal from making
a mess in the crate and also gives them access to water throughout the day. Also try to use
metal bowls, metal bowls, a lot of times the plastic ones will cause allergies and bumps
on the muzzle. Thank you very much. This has been Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg, Miami Dog Training.
