In this episode of the AMDetails Wheelie Stool Video - we review an Audi SQ5 in for the Gtechniq Single stage Crystal Serum Black G1 smart glass bolt-on service. After these processes have been carried out, the car received the Gtechniq single stage detail. ************** The Gtechniq Single Stage Detail consists of a single stage machine polish which is mainly intended as a prep before a Gtechniq coating or to remove very light dealer marring. All painted surfaces will undergo a very fine machine polish using a finishing polish and pad. This service will extract the sharpest possible finish out of your vehicle before your chosen protection is applied. This service is ideal for a newer vehicle which does not suffer from heavy swirling or random deep scratches. When all machining is complete and the panels have been wiped over with Gtechniq Panel Wipe, we then proceed to coat the car with Gtechniq Crystal Serum 2 coats of EXO; also known asCSblack which comes with a 7-year guarantee. Hey there guys, its alan at amdetails here
and it is time for another wheelie stool video!
this one is on a stunning blue Audi SQ5
in for; amdetails single stage detail, protected in Crystal Serum Black and G1 smart glass on the windows!
car comes in for the safe wash process
pre rinse with AM APC
snow foam and then the two bucket method
we then use a one inch detailing brush and apc to get in around the little areas like
front grills, Audi badges at the front, around the mirrors
all the places that the lambswool mitt cannot reach
wheels are cleaned as far as possible without taking them off
using various brushes with AM Wheels
they are then get a de tar, de iron
and that is Gtechniq T1 on the tyres
the paintwork after washing
got a de tar, de iron
liquid decontaminations stages
it was then given a clay bar session
to remove any bonded contaminants
from the paintwork
this also happens on the windows guys
door shuts are done brought inside
towel and blown dried
so what happens after that?
well it was the single stage element
of the detail, so
we go over the car with a single stage to just remove any slight marring
or any defects from manufacturing
gives the car this nice glossy look
see it isnt completely defect free, but pretty good standard ready for Gtechniq coatings
so applied tot his was Gtechniq Crystal Serum
giving the customer their 7 year guarantee
on the crystal serum. and then
brand new EXO V3 on top
giving the customer that Hydrophobic layer
resiting grit and grime
windows were polished and protected with Gtechniq G1
everything else guys is AMDetails
wheel wax on the wheels
AM Wax in all the little areas
that we cant coat
am trim on the plastics round the front
am glaze used to bring up things like the audi badges
and that is it guys
one Audi SQ5
after our single stage detail, protected in Gtechniq giving the customer that 7 year guarantee!
