How to Make a Criss Cross Card - Criss cross card - Embellish bands

Alright and in this step what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and secure our bands together. So I'm going to go ahead and do that right now. And with that I'm going to put the blue on top of the brown. So, I want this one upside down. Pardon me. Definitely on the edges. If my glue will go. There we go. So I'm going to go ahead and fix that on top of my brown. And I'm going to center that so I have equal amounts of the card stock on either side. Secure that down. So we have that. Now that I have it glued I'm going to go ahead and fold my score lines. And there is our band for that. So I'm going to go ahead and set this to the side. What I'm going to want to do next is embellish it. So with that step I'm going to use our stamps again. I'm going to go ahead and use the belt strap, pardon me, I meant I'm going to go ahead and probably use one of the buckles to go on top of it. So I'm going to go ahead and get started with that. I'm going to use my long stamp. I'm making sure that's clean. Always a good thing to do. Alright. I'm going to go ahead and ink right on top of that. Since I'm only going to want to stamp the front side of it I'm going to go ahead and fold that in half. That way I'm only inking the front side. So it'll be that section so I'm just going to keep it there. But just know I'm just going to stamp on this portion right here. Even pressure all the way around. And we have our strap. So there's that. Now that we have our strap done what I'm going to do next is go ahead and stamp our buckle. I'm going to go ahead and set that there. I'm going to get. I'm going to apply a good amount of ink on there so I get a good coverage. Just make sure I get enough on there. And go ahead and put it down. Just apply a little pressure on there. There we go. And there's your buckle. So I'm going to go ahead and cut that out. Okay got it cut out. Going to apply a little glue. Just go ahead, add that right there. So we have our buckle on our strap for the band of our card. And in the last step of our embellishing of our strap, pardon me, I'm going to go ahead and add three brads right here. Okay? In order to do that I'm going to get my paper piercer again and I'm going to, get that out of the way, poke my holes. Okay. So there's that. And once again with the brads just go ahead and poke them through your holes and flatten out the back sides. Alright. And that is embellishing our strap. Our final step will be to completely assemble our criss cross card.
