Over recent years more and more children have needed a foster carer.
Three quarters of all looked after children are placed in foster care.
However, there is a shortage in England. Over 7,000 more foster carers are needed for children
from different backgrounds and ages, with a range of needs.
Some have very complex needs but all need a caring family home.
More foster carers, of all ages, from a range of backgrounds, are needed to care for these
children
