Howdy folks hows it going welcome to my *** kitchen back in August I had a flurry of emails
asking me to show you how to make cookie dough so lets do it.
They looks amazing right kind of like little footballs or soccer balls depending on where
in the World you live but you know what I mean and this recipe is so simple too it doesn't
even need a recipe video I should just be say here like this and then you do it ok it's
your turn. But no if you wanna have a go at making this hit pause on the video now write
all of these ingredients down you can tweak it add stuff chuck whatever you want in there
you could grab a bin and just put it in the dough, don't do that but this is what we do
ok. First of all grab an Internet cooking video
friendly mixing bowl and add both sugars we've got white and brown there if you want this
make a little darker add more brown you know what i'm saying i'm not gonna go any further
with that comment as I might dig myself a little hole but what we do now is add some
melted butter in there now you can use room temperature butter that's fine just add it
in and mix it all together so you basically get like a buttercream really and it's not
a cream you wanna put on your face you want to put this in your belly.
With it all creamed together you want to add your vanilla extract next so add a little
bit in there but you can add anything you want you could add peppermint you could add
rose water you can really tweak it add essence of you that sounds like an aftershave for
men lets move on just get it all in there. Next up sift on your plain flour maybe do
it a little bit at a time in batches that's gonna dry up your mixture and make it all
sturdy keep going you might want to add a little more flour or a little salt for some
kick but just keep going until it's nice and manoeuvrable in your hand until your happy
with the texture of it. It's all about texture baby like everything in life really. yep.
Once your happy with the mixture you can take a step back and go hahaha i'm happy with my
mixture uh sorry just roll it up into little ball shapes that's how you get the football
shape like this or soccer ball just get on a baking tray and slam it in the fridge just
to firm it up around about half an hour at a minimum should do it but it really does
help keep it a little more firm. So that's it my friends if you enjoyed this
