LONG LINES.
WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN OR HEARD?
>> Reporter: WHEN WE GOT HERE
TODAY IN THE MORNING, THERE WERE
PEOPLE CAMPED OUT THREE HOURS
BEFORE THE POLLING STATION
OPENED IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, WHERE
COLUMBUS IS LOCATED.
THERE HAVE BEEN LONG LINES
THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND
THROUGHOUT THE PAST FEW DAYS.
TALKING TO MANY OF THESE PEOPLE,
YES, THERE ARE SOME WHO ARE
COMPLAINING AND FRUSTRATED AND
SAYING, THIS IS RIDICULOUS, BUT
ON THE OTHER HAND, A LOT OF
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TAKING IT
PRETTY WELL AND THEIR ENTHUIASM
IS PRETTY MUCH OUTWEIGHING
FRUSTRATION.
ALMOST EVERYONE WE SPOKE WITH
SAID THEY'VE NEVER WAITED THIS
LONG FOR ANYTHING IN THEIR
LIVES.
BY MID-AFTERNOON, MOST PEOPLE
WERE IN LINE IN COLUMBUS AT
LEAST THREE HOURS BEFORE CASTING
A BALLOT.
>> IT WAS WORTH IT.
>> Reporter: WHY?
>> BECAUSE IT'S MY FIRST TIME
VOTING AND HOPEFULLY IT DOES
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
>> Reporter: FRUSTRATED?
>> YES.
DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T
OPEN UP MORE BOOTHS IN MORE
AREA.
THEY HAVE ALL THESE GOVERNMENT
BUILDINGS AND NOT UTILIZING
THEM.
>> Reporter: WHILE SOME
EXPRESSED FRUSTRATIONS, NO
REPORT OF TENSIONS.
WE TALKED TO A WOMAN WHO TOOK A
BREAK IN LINE AND FOUND
VOLUNTEERS ENCOURAGING.
>> ONE VOLUNTEER SAID DON'T GET
DISCOURAGED, THE TOUGH PART OF
THE LINE, YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING
TO VOTE, SEE A LONG WAY TO GO,
SAY STICK WITH IT, DON'T LEAVE.
>> Reporter: SOME WERE DOWN
RIGHT HAPPY TO SEE THE TURNOUT.
>> I THINK IT'S GREAT,
WONDERFUL.
THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE
