Merry meet again,
and welcome back to the Friends of Rupert show!
Thanks so much for joining us for our "Celebrate Beltane" episode;
we're so glad you're here!
On today's show, we have a special guest with us.
Her name is Ravenna, and she has a story
to share with us about two Greek Goddesses,
by the names of Persephone and Demeter.
And you'll find out just what happens when
Persephone gets curious
(Giggles) Just like Rupert does,
and she goes and wanders off on her own.
Wait and see what happens!
We also have Patrick McCleary,
who is the Pagan Dad with us today,
to tell us all about April's Full Moon.
And you might want to watch one for sure,
because it's a good one.
AND then we have a special surprise.
A very SPECIAL Friend of Rupert by the name of S.J. Tucker.
She's going to share with us HER song called "Rabbit's Song,"
and if you've never heard her sing before,
you're in for a special treat.
I can't TELL you how excited I am to
Wait until you hear it!
Something you may not know
is that the very first Rupert's Tale was about Beltane.
I wrote "Rupert's First Beltane" back on April 7th in 2008.
So, actually, you might think of April 7th as Rupert's Birthday.
That would mean that he's now five years old!
(Laughter) And, so, to celebrate,
I'm going to share with you the very first recording
I made of the song "I'm a Friend of Rupert."
So, sing along!
