Some people say that if you do not do Banis in a certain way, you are wrong.
Your first have to realize that you, me, everybody makes mistakes.
When we become too rigid, we say, "This person has not completed the 5 banis today, but I have". This is what you say.
"You have not completed 5 banis today, but I have. I have completed my Banis today".
"You are not the one who has completed the Akhand Paath today".
But who is perfect?
Only SatGuru and God are perfect. You are alone, and will not be able to be as complete Him.
Why do we judge others this way?... "He's wrong, and I'm right."
One will never be ok, as long as we think like this.
You must first see the goodness of the other person. We must appreciate someones braveness.
"Even if he was not awake in Amrit Vela, he still completed his Banis".
Even if one doesn't do any Banis,
But look at his interactions. How he speaks to others with love, devotion, and humility.
The one who does Banis, but doesn't stay humble is more wrong than the former.
To always speak with such sweetness and love is a great meditation itself.
To reign in your anger, ego, and greed is a huge inner-transformation.
We often read GuruGranth Ji without understanding, it has been written,
"Night and day, you listen to the Puraanas, but you do not understand them, you ignorant fool!"
'Puraan' can be any scripture
SGGS Ji is considered a 'Puraan' too.
The old scriptures are different from SGGS Ji, but the subject is the same.
Reading and reading doesn't give us the essence.
So how can we judge others?
Siri Singh Sahib says, "When a person looks through two eyes, they pass judgement."
Definitely. We do. We all do. I do too.
But try judging yourself. Are you completely perfect?
Have you completed your saadhna?
If you do a perfect sadhana, that is the beginning of the test!
In the next 24 hours how do you potray yourself?
Are you a person of anger, or of love? Will you try to put someone down?
The person who manipulates others, cannot be trusted.
As he is a greedy person, always thinking for his own benefit first.
Look at the nature of that person. Saints speak only when its required.
Never more than that.
Everyone judges, except those who look through the third eye.
There are 3 bodies of the mind; positive, negative, neutral.
One with a Positive Mind always sees the potentials. "This is possible. That can happen".
That is one way.
One with a Negative Mind sees what is missing.
"This isn't possible. That won't work. He always does that." That is another way.
A person with the Neutral Mind listens to both sides, and with the intuition (third eye).
Only she/he doesn't judge.
Yogi ji says, "A person who sees with two eyes, judges."
"One who sees through one eye (the third eye) doesn't."
That person starts their mind on the right path.
It is my request, if someone tells you "You are wrong for not doing Banis"
"You are wrong because of this or that."
Everyone makes mistakes, we are children. We shouldn't try to find the mistakes.
If you do your Banis, then turn around and say "He does the Banis wrong."
"He did the Banis wrong. He didn't pronounce it right." etc.
"He did this and that wrong."
There will be thousands who will try to find mistakes in you.
But don't give up. Be brave. Keep going, and stay happy.
Give love and meet each other with love. This is what is lacking in Sikh Dharma.
I am judging what lacking in our Sikh Dharma; that love has been reduced.
Judgment has increased. People argue more on what is their notion of right and wrong.
It is my request increase your patience, understanding and love. End hatred.
"Slander me, slander me - go ahead, people, and slander me." This shabad is about the person who defames a Saint,
Not just regular people, but a Saint. The person who slanders a saint...
takes on His karmas and cleans His karmas away (like washing His clothes)
He is taking away any old deeds of the Saint and destroying it for Him.
If you want to slander anyone, do it for Saints.
Because you are helping them by destroying their karma.
But you are increasing your sorrows.
Back-biting is a very basic thing. A selfish and unaware thing.
We shouldn't do it. Let's be Gurmukh. Let our mouths speak the Guru's words as a practice.
That's my request. Satnam!
