Ruger Sr22 - .22 caliber pistol - Review and shoot

Ammo Canistan here I told you I was gonna getcha an sr-22 to look at and I did I kept my promise mcgowan here for you you know twenty two caliber pistols are fun to shoot there seems to be some new options they've been coming out you may be used to some of the older style pistols .22-caliber which you know I've got an example right here %uh this you know what I'm out a pistol I'll and you know this is a Ruger .22 in 45 minutes it's a great pistol and maybe got a mach1 mark to market three baby you've got to hurt when I Q 45 it some other flavors but now their communities can modern sporting pistols a column on transporting pesto a and a no Walters got one and burger came out with this one they're very close and styling and functionality but let's get this thing out of the box here this is a new pissed on but she looks like and what this thing is all about so you open this thing up you're going to get yourself Adia safety manual you gonna get yourself a spent shell casing hear from a test fire this comes with the few a.m. different accessories the first being you get these extra but plates for your magazine it on just at a little bit a link to them he'd get big minutes and you know you'd like to have an extra like you get one free two magazines that this comes with on these are 10 round magazines on they look like they're pretty pretty basic construction you know no magic to tease that they look like they're decent in my estimation you do get to grips with this to back straps and that's a nice feature again if you've got big hands they've they've made this a good option for you so this is the larger of the two hear I have this moment on the pistol now does come with a safety device a lock it comes with a a sleeve here to to carry this thing if you're going through this in a range bag or whatever so that that's a nice extra add-on that they give you let's get this thing safety check to those that I can show you the pistol itself in a little bit more detail so that this one already has a safety flag chamber so I think we can be assured that there's nothing in the chamber drop magazine were safe there tougher action and we know that we're good I'm so just to show you how it really works to put nifty magazine back in this says it will not function without the magazine in there so I'll here it is the Ruger sr-22 right this is a the black model there are several models that you can get couple different flavors there's one that has a silver anodized finish it's nice it runs about 20 bucks more yeah the MSRP on ease I think you're around 320 box you might be able to pick them up for a little bit shorter money than that right now by a minute 320 bucks right I'll Brandon pistol some you wanna have fun with that's not an awful deal on terms over the fit and finish on this you know I'm looking at it and it's it's pretty nice you know it is only a three hundred dollar pistol you know only three hundred dollars right but everything looks like it's its made pretty nicely on the sites are plastic cited 3 3 dot white white dot sights on here looks like the very adjustable for elevation on me and adjustable for windage is well on this is a hammer fired arrangement so you're going to get that don't with the single-action poll that I i'm talked about in my sig videos it's something that I think its bonnet still wat there and learn so hey this may be is a good gun to go out there and learn that arm that double single action on a you know in terms of the trigger on this you know it's gotta its its got a decent break to it you know it's not going to be the same issue gonna get on you know high and pistol but you know it doesn't seem like it's too bad now I don't have many around this a brand personal so I don't have any rounds through it am just gonna disclaimer and saying all geez how can you talk about the break at this thing without going out there fired can maybe it's not appropriate for me to make a comment on that just yet but you know just from what I'm feeling right now you know it seems like it's an acceptable acceptable treasure in terms of safety on this pistol you've got in the dexters safety controls this is a very friendly pistol for those of you that may be a left-handed on its gotta ambidextrous magazine release it's good ambidextrous safety the only thing that won't work for you with your dominant hand up is your you slide release you know a your left the I don't know what to tell you you know it's bad news you don't have a lot of options although it's getting better it is getting better for lefties so unless your gonna learn how to do things right handed you know you just gonna have to learn how to to deal with it I know a lot of you are in maybe makes no difference at all so I want to I'm beat up the lefties on this video so it's a polymer frame pistol it's got a a an aluminum slide on it it's a it's not too heavy I think that the manufacturer has this thing in at 17 and a half ounces so let's I was just test and see where this thing is at according to my scale a you know not too bad I'm it one-pound one and three eighths ounces so a I guess that's my skills pretty close today in terms of blanked on this pistol you know you're lookin term 6.4 inches long you're looking at 4.9 inches high on the with this thing is going to be 1.29 inches and the barrel act on it is is three and a half inches in terms of price on these magazines you know I couldn't tell you how much it would cost to to go out and buy somebody's replacement magazine but I'm guessing they're probably not terribly expensive they don't look like they're made out of any exotic materials by any stretch so but it does come with two it is 22 though and I know you're out there playing in with these things you're gonna be burning tree stand around is pretty quick so maybe it makes sense for you to go out in you know by a couple more ok once you sure that this is a pistol that that you wanna keep on its gets a reaction to the slide on the front in the back I you down not something makes a huge difference to me but they're there so it does have an accessory rail on the front which is I guess can a unique for a .22-caliber you know it makes a friendly it may be fun for beginner use a to be able to you know it fashion accessories to this thing on so you know that is what it is on overall you know I can tell you fit and finish wise a trigger on this hey for three hundred are pistol you know this seems like it's a pretty nice pistol and I'm kinda excited to go out there and shoot this thing you know we've all got these .22-caliber because let's face it it's expensive to go out and shoot are are bigger caliber pistol so you know you've got invest in something smaller caliber if you want to be able to go out and have Strange Days indeed it for a few hours and not have to take a loan out so here's here's another option you know I'm in this kinda more modern style onto pretty nice pistol I'm gonna get out to the range very soon you know obviously benefits a .22-caliber you know there stairs basically no recoil on this so it's a great training personal for females om you know .22-caliber scraper obviously getting your dog if you've got a field auger something that you want start breaking into the sound of gunfire for hunting purposes on you know .22 caliber is good for that a.m. you know it this specials going to fit in any size hand it is big enough that even for me with with decent size hands I am you know it feels good but with this additional back strap here it's going to make my life a little easier if you've got those big hands com its its accessory a friendly a and you know I said again and I'll said it before and I'll say it again essays cheap issue it's cheap to shoot it's cheap to shoot we all have Tony's if we want to go out there and and be able to to do target practice so I guess that's all I'm going to say about this for
