The long awaited Inspector General (IG) report became public two days ago. And does it ever
point out the double standard of who can get away with lying to the FBI and who can not.
The IG report clearly marks McCabe as one of the worse liars in America.
He lied FOUR times, according to the report. Yet, where are the repercussions for McCabe?
Fox News reports, “Andrew McCabe, one-time acting FBI Director, leaked a self-serving
story to the press and later lied about it to his boss and federal investigators, prompting
a stunning fall from grace that ended in his firing last month, says a bombshell report
released Friday by the Justice Department’s internal watchdog.”
Sunday morning, House Judiciary Committee Member, Congressman John Ratcliffe (R-TX)
joins Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ ‘Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss the report after
reading it.
Maria jumps right! It is her usual style! She asks the logical questions we all want
to know. She says, “can you tell us about the…beginning… of the IG report…that
was dropped on Friday night?”
Congressman Ratcliffe says, “I think the most important take-a-way is that the firing
of Andrew McCabe was justified. Not once, not twice, not three times, bur four times,
the number two person at the premier law enforcement agency in the world…the FBI…LIED. And
was less than truthful – sometimes under oath.”
Then he continues, “I think the other important take a way for the American people is that
it shows our congressional investigations into this matter are justified. Remember Adam
Schiff and others were wagging their finger at me and other members for maligning the
characters of certain FBI and DOJ officials. Listen. I love the DOJ. I wanted Adam Schiff
to be right. But, he wasn’t.”
