The mission has been assigned to SF detachment "Charlie" wich will be on Patrol When ? Immediately after the briefing Where ? East of the AO Red Trail as shown on the map The goal is to provide security to FB Bayonet SF detachment "Charlie" will patrol the red trail up to checkpoint red This crossroad here and try to obtain information about enemy troop movement Once reached checkpoint red, contact "Lama" for further advanche on checkpoint Red 1 its further up the slope [Enemy] HIT! No, we preferd to stay here Goal of the mission is to eliminate the enemy commander The SF detachment will proceed east to chechpoint Red Sniper and Spotter then will reach the objective while the rest of the team will set up a perimeter to repel enemy reinforcements After checkpoint red set up the perimeter in this area The elimination of the VC commander will reduce enemy activity in the area Game Rules... Sniper and Spotter Who are they ? We are still deciding who will be the spotter They have to close in on the cardboard target wich will be at the tower... ...and hit it without being spotted by the guards if spotted, they have to take out the guads as well and take out the commander before he escapes Escaping will be simulated by removal of the cardboard target If Sniper and Spotter get taken out by the guards fall back to checkpoint Red and then return to the Firebase How did it go ? Nice firefight Tell the sniper team to proceed with the mission, we are setting up the perimeter, over! Two of our vietnamese agents will meet with the VC tax collector at 2300 hours The capture of the VC tax collector will reduce the flow of enemy weapons and supplies in the AO and will give us further informantion about enemy activity Guys, if you dont know how to do this kind of job, DONT DO IT!!! It will be a recovery mission of the reconnaissance material... ... wich contains top secret information Northeast of the AO, as signed on the map Goal of the mission is to prevent that the reconnaissance material falls in to the enemy hands The units will follow the yellow trail until they reach checkpoint Yellow. There second platoon will set up a defensive perimeter So they can cut of reinforcments from the enemy camp wich has been located in E2 What stroke of luck, there it is! Whit all the possible locations where the plane couldt have crushed, it came down there ? Its about time that you lot do something useful We did all the assaults... ...defensive engagements as well You arragned its that as soon you went on patrol the enemy attacked us Then the SF detachment will proceed towards east Until i reaches the signal of the planes homing beacon in F2 After the recovery it will proceed with the second phase of the mission What ? Slaughter the enemy ? The pilots emergency beacon is still active and it looks like the pilot managed to eject No, its some kind of mistake It must be some kind of hound or beast wich is dragging his body along The presumed position of the pilot is signed on the map The pilots signal has moved during the last two hours... ... so check if he is awaiting rescue or has been captured by the enemy The SF detachment will go to sector F1 and try to locate the pilot At the same time 2nd platoon will advance on the yellow trail and attack the enemy camp in sector E2 60!
