Only twenty-five percent of the population has an organizing brain-type. Which means
that seventy-five percent of the population doesn’t know how to get organized, doesn’t
have the tools, or just innately will not be able to organize themselves.
That seventy-five percent of the population has somehow fumbled on or saw someone else
do something; they may have walked into an office that already has an existing structure
from the person who worked there before them, or saw their parents fumbled through their
systems, and they’ve put those things in place. And so they are trying to fit themselves
into some sort of mould without any education. A lot of people feel like “oh, I should
know how to do this... I should get this on my own...”, but there’s no way they’ll
ever get it, because they just don’t have the foundation!
I love my job because, when I leave at the end of the day, clients are just filled with
so much joy... they feel like the world has been lifted off their shoulders... what they
get is massive amounts of relief... They can’t even belief: in a four-hour time slot, how
much we can change their life. For people in organizing, they don’t really
understand how their brain type works. You can’t use the same system for every
kind of person. I may be exceedingly structured and I need
a billion different files, and you might just need three files, and that might be more productive.
I love walking up on stage and just knowing that I’m igniting people’s passions. They
can feel my energy, and we connect. I love that moment when I see the lightbulbs
go on, and they’re getting what I’m saying. So when they come, and they see the presentation,
or they do a seminar, and they learn about the different systems, or different ways of
doing the same thing, finally they’re like... “Ok! Now I know how to go back and to approach
my system.” When they come and they learn the simple,
proven tools, they can walk away with confidence, and implement trusted systems so they can
succeed.
