Hi! In today's tutorial, I'm combining Water marble technique with triangles to make this
fun geometric nail design. Please have all the supplies in front of you
before starting. As always, sit in a well ventilated room and
prime your nails with a base coat beforehand. For the colors to be vibrant, paint a coat
or two of white nail polish, just until it is opaque. Try to keep the layer thin.
Wait for your nails to dry. Use a dry-fast solution if you have one to speed up the process.
Get scotch tape and scissors. cut out a small triangle shape strip that
will fit in the middle of your finger. Do the same for all your fingers
Vaseline is our mess-free secret weapon. Cover your fingers while leaving out your
nails. Now we are getting to the actual water marbling.
prepare a small cup of filtered water. Make sure it is room temperature.
Have two or more polishes with cap unscrewed. Drop one color and let it spread.
Then drop the other one. Repeat this until you are happy with how it
looks. Using a chopstick, swirl around to create
a pattern. When you are happy with it, stick your fingernail
in and stay submerged for a few seconds. Gather the leftover nail polish and remove
it from the cup. You'll see the water marble pattern in transferred
on your fingernail. Now it will look very messt, but that's okay.
Using clean your finger area with a tissue or Qtip. The nail polish should slide right
off. When it is all clean, remove the tape, and
there you have it, a triangle water marble nail design.
Do the same with all your fingers, and apply a top coat after.
