Hey everyone it’s Larissa from Frugalicious and this is the Deal of the
Day.
So it’s the week before Christmas, one of the busiest shopping weeks of the
So there are only 2 days until Christmas, and if you haven’t ‘finished your
shopping yet, you’re probably freaking out. Have no fear, I have plenty of
great Frugalicious gift ideas,
food gifts - because I love to eat! But I also think they’re a bit more
special than anything store bought - taking the time to make a gift for
someone is really special.
So of course if you’re an accomplished chef or baker, you’ve got this
already. But even if you’re not, I’ve still got some great ideas. You can
make a great gift basket for someone without slaving away in the kitchen,
or breaking the bank.
Put together a wine country picnic by getting a bottle of wine, some
chocolates, and spiced nuts in a cute bag or basket. There are lots of
great sites where you can find wine at deep discounts - I love
MyWinesDirect.com - they offer free shipping on every order.
TheWineBuyer.com also has lots of picks for under $10 per bottle, so check
it out!
Or what about a pre-packaged mix of chocolate chip cookies? Gourmet stores
charge a bundle for a fancy mix, but you can make yours at home for just a
few dollars. Just put all the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, salt,
chocolate chips, etc in a regular mason jar, then handwrite the
instructions on a card and tie it around the top with a pretty ribbon.
Bonus - the kids will LOVE helping with this!
And, to save even more, our friends at coupons.com have tons of great food
coupons all the time - I saw coupons for hershey’s kisses and dove
chocolates!

Holidays everyone, I’ll see you tomorrow!
