Police have apprehended a second 11-year-old boy in the senseless torching of a school bus used by a Brooklyn Jewish school, cops said Thursday.
NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said the second child was taken into custody Thursday afternoon — a day after police released surveillance images of the Sunday arson.
“He’s being questioned with his parents,” Boyce said. “He was one of the original (suspects) on the bus.”
Five boys between 10 and 15 years old loaded up the open school bus in Brooklyn with pieces of cardboard and set them on fire about 6 p.m., cops said.
