Hi. I'm Mike McKenzie the professor for Philosophy 115, Ethics. You're thinking
of taking this course and let me just tell you a couple of things about it and give you
some more information that might make it easier for you to make a choice. I really like this
course for one major reason. It ties in the practice of life on one hand with ethical
theory on the other. Chances are you know a lot about the former. You know about ethical issues
in the work place. You know about whether your social worker or a nurse the tough things
that you have to make decisions on every day. This course gives you lots of tools to help
