When you are in need of directions the Google Maps Navigation app is a great way to find out where you need to go.
Watch this video to learn how to navigate using Google Maps on your Samsung Galaxy S Aviator.
To begin touch applications from any home screen.
Then select the Navigation application.
If this is your first time using Navigation you will need to read over Terms and Conditions and then press Accept before beginning.
Note: Ensure that GPS is enabled.
This will bring you to the home screen.
From here you may choose to speak your destination, type a destination
or choose a destination from your contacts list or starred locations.
For our purposes we will select Type Destination.
Once you have finished typing your location, press the Search icon.
If you have multiple navigation devices on your phone a prompt will appear asking you to choose which application you would like to use.
We will choose Navigation.
This will bring up a map to your desired location.
Touch the list icon at the bottom right if you wish to view the list of directions as well as the distance and estimated length of your trip.
Next touch the menu button to view your options.
Touch route info for more detailed trip information.
From this screen you can press the options button if you would like a new route avoiding highways or tolls.
Simply select what you would like to avoid, then touch OK to change your route.
You may also press the alternate route button to view other ways to arrive at your destination.
When you have finished your navigation press the back button until you arrive at a prompt asking you if you wish to exit navigation.
Press ok to exit the application.
