During Lent, it will be seen on various social media, Catholic television and internet channels, as well as Catholic diocesan webpages from all over the globe. In total there are 32 videos which will be released Monday to Friday during the season; each with an approximate run time of one minute. While the topics of each video range from insightful theological points to encouragement for one’s Lenten observance, all are meant to meet the baptized wherever they are at in the spiritual life. The length, the topic, as well as the ‘feel’ of the videos were all carefully prepared to help pastors and leaders in the Church to assist the people under their care; and it is the hope of all Evango team members that this happens. -- Patrick Sullivan is all about evangelization. After receiving a Master of Divinity degree from St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto, Canada, he has successfully shared the Faith in Catholic schools, parishes, coffee shops, restaurants, universities and colleges; pretty much anywhere you can think of. Today Patrick leads Evango, a ministry he founded in 2014 to aid in the new evangelization through the use of media. Patrick is also a prolific public speaker, delivering parish missions and speaking at conferences large and small throughout North America. He is the author of three books, with the fourth being released shortly. -- Patrick’s Books Four Monks Walk into a Pub: ****** Dare to Be an Evangelist: ****** Angels Among Us: ****** Find Patrick here: Website: ****** Facebook: ****** Facebook Live: “Live with Patrick Sullivan” airs every Sunday evening 8 p.m. Eastern Standard LinkedIn: ****** Twitter: ****** ****** 1-613-909-8711 -- Evango could not have produced these beautiful videos without the help and expertise of the Westbound Creative. Within the home where the passover meal was taking place they were safe, and the blood of the lamb (sprinkled as it was on the wood of the door with a hyssop branch) would protect them. Consider now the Passover celebrated many centuries later by our Lord Jesus. Before finishing the meal, Jesus would get up and leave that sacred space with all of the security that it offered. And as we would expect, Jesus too would have to face the destroyer, the prince of this world as Jesus was led off to his destruction. But notice something. When Jesus, the lamb of God, finally hung on a cross, and a hyssop branch was lifted to his mouth, what he did changed everything. For now, the passover meal didn’t just protect those within the walls of a home given over to God, but he drew all of us to him, where the power of the evil one has no effect.
