Hi, I'm a kiwi bird. The kind of bird that can't fly, kind of like a penguin or an emu.
So I can't exactly spread my wings and go. Like you, I have to take a bus or taxi or
flight or other precarious methods of transportation. Planning a trip is so exhausting though.
Last winter, I traveled to Florida and my first stop was this little town outside of
Miami so I searched forever to find the best flight to Miami. Then, I had to find a way
to my hotel, and after hours of researching I discovered that the only thing available
at that time was a bus! But it didn't go directly to my hotel.
So I booked the bus, and then began to figure out how to get from the bus station to my
hotel!
Aww See, it was frustrating just telling that story and that was just my first stop. So
I asked this super geek friend of mine to help me out. She created an amazing website
called Kiwirama, it does all the searching for me with just one click and in less than
a minute.
Check it out! Today I'm in San Francisco but tomorrow I need to be in L.A. for a Kiwi convention.
When I search a destination, Kiwirama scans a huge quantity of information including community
shared experiences, and uses a complicated algorithm to deliver the best results.
Right now it's searching all possible flights and for any rental cars, trains, sub-ways
or shuttles I may need to take, it's also going to give me the departure times and prices
for fairs, tolls, fuel and any other costs I may encounter.
This means, I no longer have to search hundreds of different sites because Kiwirama will give
me a number of complete itineraries to choose from. Including the easiest, fastest and cheapest
options and I can book everything together as a single ticket. Then all my choices are
put together in my own personal trip guide, with all the info I need, and advice to go
with.
I just planned a trip in sixty seconds and you can too. Visit www.kiwirama.com Amazing,
don't you think?
