Salut tout le monde! Hello everyone! Welcome to an unboxing of
this lovely Bravely Default Collector's Edition. As you can see the box is a lot
bigger than my hand,
which, although it's not saying much, it's still a lot bigger than most
3DS collector's editions that I have seen so far.
So let's get started here. So as you can see the front cover is very nice and
shiny.
I believe the game had a subtitle, but I don't see it there.
So as you can see, it is rated T for teen, by Square Enix, for 3DS,
et cetera. On the side you can see the title
in all shininess.Pretty much the same here except
for this sticker. On the top and bottom it's just
for opening and whatnot. On the back, though, is a whole lot of nice
art and information. Well you know, "Embarked on the ultimate fantasy RPG for
Nintendo 3DS."
A bunch of tiny information. Might have to get
right in there to see. There we go. And cool little screenshots.
And it tells you what's inside the box, which
I totally forgot what is in the box, and I'm not really looking at that right now,
so it's a bit of a surprise for me. So...
we may as well start cutting right in here. I got myself a little
exacto knife so I don't ruin everything by trying to get the seal open.
So let's just get in here. Niahh...
I don't believe that opened at all.
Alright. Come on, exacto knife, don't fail me now.
Almost. Ngheahh.
Okay. So we got the box
open. So, let's just open
the flap, here. Whoa. Whoaa!
It opens right up! That's super fancy.
So we've got ourselves the game,
some cards, it looks like, and
a soundtrack. That's pretty nice. So I'm going to take a look at the game here.
Ooh, it comes with French which is great for me 'cause I play my games in French.
I just... Yeah... Don't even ask. Ha ha ha
Also plays on 2DS! That is a sticker. Sort of weird.
Alright, on the back, pretty much the same information, except it doesn't say what's
in the box because, you know.
And also says that its part the bundle, which is nice.
Alright, so, we'll put that back there. Oh and I don't know if you can see this on the camera,
but there's sort of a little pattern here on the top and bottom,
which is pretty nice in my opinion. So we're going to look at these cards next.
Ooh, nice little fairy. Very fancy.
There is no seal on this box, which is convenient, because I would feel terrible opening it.
...Nyeargh. Ugh, there we go.
It's hard to open these things. Oh, there's a seal on the cards, though, so
I guess that's a bit of a problem. Egh. Come on.
Slippery little buggers. Get out!
It's nice that Nintendo -- *tearing sound*
Auh! Oh my gosh. I just ripped the box.
I feel terrible! Ha ha!
okay well it's a good thing it's mine, and not somebody else's.
Fortunately it's not a super big deal for me.
But, uh, yeah these cards look pretty nice. That's a... resealable bag,
I think. No? Yes? Perhaps? Oh, that's weird. There's like a little
thingy that comes off. I'm very confused about this
pack of cards. Nyeah. I'm going to just tear right in here because
I already ripped the box, so what does it even matter anymore, you know?
Urgh! Come on, open, dammit.
I guess you've got to do this, maybe? Some kind of fancy
plastic opening mechanism? There we go.
So we got these cards open. Get rid of that plastic that's going to go in the trash
So we got fancy fairies and
characters and... I think these are AR cards.
Pretty nice. Ooh, characters from in-
game. That's pretty cool. My
goodness, there are a lot of cards here! Whoa
geez. Okay. How many more do we have to go through, here?
Well you guys get the idea,
you know? There's a lot of characters, there's a lot of cards.
We're almost through, oh my gosh!
Alright so those are the cards,
in the box, which I tore, which I feel terrible about,
but that's okay. I'm gonna just put the box
and the cards up here, so I don't waste more time tearing the box by accident
some more.
Oh, there's something underneath the soundtrack, I think.
I think. I thought there was.
Oh, yes, there is. But first we'll look at this, which has very...
interesting artwork. It's not really the style that I usually
look at that much, but you know. On the back it's pretty simple.
Quite nice. Um. I don't even know if I will open this.
I guess there's a little booklet inside, so I kind of have to now.
Come on... Rargh!
I'm super terrible at opening this kind of thing.
Well we're gonna leave it be for now, and look at what is underneath.
Ooh, deluxe artbook!
I think you can get it from here... There we go.
I know how to do collectors editions.
...And tear boxes. Unfortunate. So this is
a pretty hefty artbook. Good gracious.
I'll just flip through it quickly, because I'm sure that you can find lots of the -- oh
dear --
pictures online. Pretty nice, though.
Gives little concept art and stuff.
Super pleasant to look at. Yeah.
Just flipping through it here. Giving you guys a look at
what's inside. Don't want to spend too much time on each page.
You guys can always pause it if you really want to see something
before it is gone.
Ah, here we go. Almost at the end. There we go. So that's a pretty nice art book.
On the back, even. See this little area, which I don't know what it is, but I'm sure I'll
find out
in the game. And it's got a nice texture to it. It's a bit textured here,
and the rest of it's a nice smooth finish.
And on the side here you can see it says Bravely Default Deluxe Art Book.
Quite nice. I'm going to just put that back in there.
And see if I can get the CD thingy open,
which, uh, apparently I'm not very good at doing.
I'm going to do a little jump cut here. Alright so it seems there's like this little...
string thingy that you have to pull,
and then goes around, and then this comes off super easily and super nicely.
So all my...
meddling with it didn't really do much. What does that say?
Original Soundtrack Mini Album. Okay.
And on the side it says the same thing.
Alright, so let's open this up and see what cool stuff
is inside. 'Cause this
seems to be just packed with cool stuff, which I am breaking.
So the CD looks pretty nice. It's upside down right now, though.
Neahh. Since when do they make CD cases so grippy?
So underneath it says that.
There's a nice little bookish thing. I'm going to just put the disc back
right side up. There we go. So there's some information
about the game soundtrack there...
Whatever. Little booklet here,
of some sort. Take look-see
at that. So on the inside is uh,
the list of songs and some nice little artwork.
That's pretty cool. "Goodbye for now!"
Oh, ok. I didn't... That isn't the list of songs.
That's a message from, uh...
From Revo, the composer of the music for Bravely Default. So that's pretty nice.
It's cool that they translated it for us so we'd be able to read it over here in North
America.
Not many people that I know who live here speak Japanese.
Or rather read it. So yeah. So that's pretty nice.
Um, let's see. You've got to put all this back in. Alright.
So I'm going to look at the game now. Nyeah.
Take a look see it what's inside.
If I can get this thing open. Blar!
Alright, so, check out this game. You already saw the outside.
Aw yeah. So that's what the cartridge looks like.
Unfortunately there's no inside artwork thingies in the little holes. I always love it
when they do that. But
you really don't see it very often. So, let's take a look at these little booklets.
So there's Bravely Default and Bravely Default (no doubt
in French) and a Club Nintendo thingy,
which I will probably have already registered by the time
this video gets anywhere near my computer actually. So...
Oh! There's a nice little drawing of that dude who's in the game on the back.
That's pretty nice. Wait what? Oh, I thought that was a DS. Like an old-school
DS, but it's a laptop.
Okay, well let's look at these little booklets. Well one of them anyway.
Oh, geez, it's the fold-out things again. Why do they keep doing this?
I guess maybe it saves on paper? I don't know.
I'm not good at folding them out. Okay so there's a bit of instructions.
I guess since they went digital they don't really to need put paper instructions
in games much anymore.
Safety information and all that stuff. Ah, there's a nice little
card on the back. That's cool. So I'm going to fold that
back up. The French one, I'm sure, is the same.
Pretty sure its French. Let's see.
Yes, it is French. Cool cool cool.
So yeah, this has been the Bravely Default Collector's Edition
unboxing. I'm super excited to play this game. Uh,
I hope anyone watching this who wanted
a collector's edition got one because I heard that they were very hard to get,
that they ran out quite quickly. Unfortunately mine has no value anymore
because of this
tear that I just made. Oh my gosh, I can't believe I did that.
That was terrible. Anyways.
So I hope you enjoyed this video. See you guys next time.
Thanks for watching and... If I could get these cards in here...
Thanks for watching and I hope you guys have an awesome, awesome day.
