Hi, I’m Lillian with Salon de Scottsdale and on behalf of expertvillage.com I’m going
to talk to you about the after care of your home French manicure. Depending on your lifestyle,
how active you are, typically a manicure should last anywhere from a week to two weeks before
having to redo it again. Just a helpful hint that I wanted to show you is there is a top
coat that you could purchase at your local drug store or discount store and its called
a No Chip Top Coat. What I typically do is apply the top coat about three days after
doing my French manicure and it helps not to chip the tip of the white part of your
nail. It really, really is helpful and its probably worth buying, it doesn’t run more
than $5 and so I apply it about three days after doing my manicure and if it looks like
my manicure is still looking fresh and good, three days later I’ll apply it again and
then three days later again. Which makes my manicure last about 10 days to two weeks and
you apply it just like you do the regular top coat. Make sure that you apply the tip
of it so that it won’t chip. Other then that depending on how active your lifestyle
is, if you have your hands in water a lot or if you’re just a homemaker that’s always,
always in detergent your manicure might not last as long. So that’s a completed procedure
on a home French manicure.
