Hi, this is Aida with StyleUnited.
Oftentimes, we get stuck in a skincare rut and we do the same
skincare routine over and over, but our skincare needs change.
In the fall and winter, our skin tends to be a lot dryer,
but you still have to remember that even though
it is wintertime, you'll want to use some type of SPF.
If you live in an area where it's high altitude
and there's snow, you're more prone to sunburn.
Let me suggest using a moisturizer with an SPF of 50,
such as Regenerist UV Defense Regenerating Lotion.
If not, you could use a moisturizer that's
more moisturizing that does not have an SPF in it,
but let me suggest if you're going to do that,
you want to use makeup that has some type of SPF in it.
Then let me suggest using Covergirl Simply Ageless
with an SPF of 22.
Lips tend to get very dry in the wintertime.
Covergirl Lip Perfection is infused with silk proteins,
which help sustain and maintain moisture levels in your lips.
When thinking about moisture,
you don't want to just think about your face.
You want to think about the rest of your body.
I would suggest using Olay Ultra Moisture Lotion
all over your body, especially on your hands.
In the summertime you definitely want to think SPF, SPF, SPF.
Mainly because we spend more time outside in the summer
than we tend to spend in the wintertime.
In that case, you can use Olay Complete
and it comes with an SPF of 15 or an SPF of 30.
You can still use the UV Defense with the SPF of 50.
It's up to you.
If you're prone to summer oiliness,
you still want to use some type of moisturizer.
If you'd like, you can also use a moisturizer
that has some type of tinted foundation in it.
In the summertime, you may want to skip the blush.
In that case, you may want to try out a bronzer.
Covergirl's Cheekers is a great option.
For your lips, you may want to use Covergirl's Natureluxe,
which is a lip balm and it gives you just a hint of color,
but still the moisture that you'll need to keep your lips
nice and hydrated.
In the summertime, as opposed to the wintertime,
you want to think exfoliation, exfoliation, exfoliation.
That'll buff off all the dry skin
and it will help you with your face and your body.
For the face, you may want to use Total Effects Citrus Scrub,
which is a great, refreshing scrub for your face.
For your body, you may want to use
Total Effects Exfoliate and Replenish.
This is a great thing to do before you use a self tanner.
Don't forget in the summertime, you may be more active
and may tend to perspire more.
In that case, you may want to use Clinical Strength Secret,
or if you're really into sports, Clinical Strength Secret Sport.
Don't forget your skincare needs change in the winter and
the summer, but your skincare needs can also change with
hormonal changes, with age, and with certain medications.
If you're not sure what products to use, feel free
to call a StyleUnited counselor and we'll happy to help you.
