Since this episode is the first episode In the second season.
We will start with photography because Photography is bottom line of
Cinematography which is film-making
So we will get into it first
We gonna have the camera basics for now
Then we are going to go detailed till we Reach a professional level in the
Future
So we will continue As you can see I have DSLR camera
Filters, lens cover, lens and lens hood
We will talk about them because they are The basics of the camera
All or some of the professional Photographers should own them
First a have DSLR camera which is Canon 550d, it's a nice camera
We will talk about 3 things about The camera and photography and
Film-making or cinematography
First the shutter speed, ISO and aperture
The shutter speed means the speed of The shutter, how fast it opens and how
Fast it close
The fast speed of the shutter gives us A big chance to capture a high detailed
Picture of a fast movement objects That the eye cannot see
That's why we increase the speed of the Shutter.
In action films the camera operator uses Very high shutter speed.
We will talk about in more detail in the Next episodes.
ISO is a Digital intense lighting which is Not an optical Lightning intense
It can give you noise in the picture if you Increased it too much
I would prefer too keep it low as possible Such as 100 iso but if you have no light
You can go up to 800. I don't suggest to go up to 1600 or 3200
That's why we should always between 800 to 100
As for the aperture We have 50mm lens
Which is canon EF lens With 1.8 aperture Many people asked about how to read
A lens.
Canon Lens EF EF means Without a stabilizer
If you're shooting with a handheld Camera this will be very difficult to shoot
With 50mm with no zoom ability
1:1.8 The 1 stands for that the aperture value
Will not change because the focal length Is not changing
1.8 is the maximum aperture ability.
When you see this sample it means The diameter of the lens
52mm is the diameter of the lens So you can plug in filters to the lens
Such as this 52mm filter This is a UV filter which is mostly used to
Protect the Camera lens from any scratch And I actually use this filter to protect it.
Also, we have different types of filters Such as this FLD filter, 58mm
It won't fit onto this lens because it's 58mm filter.
We use the lens hood to block any sun Reflections such as lens flare or any type
Of sun reflection.
Some people love this effect some don't Personally I prefer to this effect in post
Which is lens flare effect, if you were a Professional editor.
