Teach Your Baby to Crawl Early

Hey guys. I'm going to show you how were going to get our son Leo here, to start crawling a little bit early. I'm going to use his toy to motivate him so that he'll crawl towards it. Things that are good to have is, is to have the proper lighting so that the baby is not tired. Maybe a little bit of ambient light, which can get them in the right mood to want to start learning. And give you guys pointer on how to strengthen the baby. Woah! He's knocking me over. He's getting strong. Wooo. Ahh. Who's that Leo? Who is that? You can help strengthen your baby's back muscles by having them sit upright. You want to start by giving them the support they need to start strengthening their muscles. A really good indicator that your baby is ready to start learning how to crawl, is that he or she will get up onto all fours, as you can see here, and will do a little rocking motion. That shows that they are trying to move, but they just don't quite have it figured out yet. Start by placing your baby in a onesie or just a diaper. This way they can have direct contact with the ground using their hand, or their knees, or their feet. This way they can have the best grip possible. If you dress your baby up too much, their movement may be restricted. Now that you have your baby in the right outfit, you're going to want to place the desired object about one to two feet in front of them. Their probably not going to be crawling like you'd imagine at first, but they'll be doing the "Super Baby Drag" where they reach their arms in front of them and drag the rest of their body towards the object. Remember that if your baby starts to do this rocking motion, encourage them by cheering them on because their one step closer to crawling. As your baby gets better and better at the "Super Baby Crawl", you're going to want to start placing the toy a little bit further away. Here you go. Here you go , Leo. Make sure you finish every day's training session, no matter what it is you are trying to teach them that day, with a nice warm bottle, and lot of love and attention.
